Final Reflections: Putting it All Together
Thanks for joining me on this exploration of ways to incorporate technology and the 4 C's of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication! We are privileged to be working with the students who will shape a future that we can't even imagine.
As a final activity, please gather your most recent week's lesson plans, or pair with a colleague for this activity, and analyze each other's plans.
Critique each subject area with the following considerations:
Which lessons incorporated technology in a meaningful way?
When was technology used as merely a pencil replacement?
After viewing this mini-course, where could you add or change things to incorporate digital tools?
In which lessons are students active participants of their learning?
How many lessons invite critical thinking?
Have students been given ample opportunities to communicate and share ideas?
How have students communicated? Speech? Writing? Art? Drama? etc?
Please post a comment with a reflection on your lesson plan critique.
